Breast implant problem: Rippling. I have a lot of experience with breast implant revisional surgery. It is often challenging, but can be very rewarding. This young woman had a relatively severe case of rippling with her old saline implants which were placed above her pectorals major muscle. Her problem was fixed by simply changing her implants to silicone and putting them behind the muscle instead. Each case of breast implant revision surgery presents its own unique set of problems and considerations. The answer may seem simple in the end, but is only so if your surgeon uses the proper judgement in surgical decision making and can set your expectations appropriately. Hopefully alls well that ends well in every case, as it is with this happy young woman. 😃
