@Regrann from @fitamysuzanne - Since having my breastimplantremoval explant surgery 4 months ago, I have had a mostly positive response from my following. Personally, I have found a new level of self confidence, body positivity, and self love that I just didn't have when I had implants. Embracing my body has a whole, including my "flaws" has been extremely empowering for me. My message to other women since experiencing 4 surgeries on my breasts that ultimately resulted in Explant, is that it's OK to embrace and accept your body without surgically modifying it. Is that bashing the ones who have? Hell no! Hate is not my message. Body acceptance, body positivity, and self love IS my message. I can tell you for sure though, that if you are insecure about your body, getting plastic surgery won't fix that. That comes from within.
I have had some feedback recently that I have spread a very negative light on girls who compete with implants. My negativity more comes from a sport that highly promotes plastic surgery. I believe the more that women openly talk about this and aren't afraid to compete without implants and be open and public about it, the more it will be accepted to compete without implants again. After my IG stories post where I claimed to be the only IFBB Pro Bikini girl there without implants, I noticed 2 other non-implanted competitors!! That makes 3 out of 30 girls without implants 😐. Regardless, let's spread the message of body acceptance, body positivity, and self love. And know that there can be HUGE risks to getting implants. And that breast Implant Illness is real.
