Not being able to hit the gym while recovering has been hard but I said I would follow doctors orders. The hardest thing is not eating as much as I was when working out 5-6x a week but I'm making it work. I've cut my calories and starches by quite a bit! Here is my breakfast: vegetable and egg stir fry. 1 cup mixed non starchy veg, 2 whole eggs and a tbsp of Hot salsa ! 240 calories. Weighing in at the hospital the day of my surgery I was a lean 132lbs, after surgery I went up to 138 but that had a lot to do with water retention from medications, 8 days later I'm 130. I want to be around 127 within the next 3 weeks when I start lifting and I will pack on the muscle! Nothing like a summertime bulk right hah.
